Founex, November 20th 2000

At a meeting on Tuesday evening, November 14, at The International School of Geneva, La Châtaigneraie campus, nearly 250 parents, teachers, students and alumni voiced unanimous support for maintaining the campus in its present state, i.e., serving Grades 1-13, with the highest quality education, (English and French Sections). It was also the view of those assembled that we should seek to obtain support for this position from the broader La Châtaigneraie community.

If you agree with the importance of maintaining La Châtaigneraie as a campus serving all grades (1-13), could you please sign the declaration below, after writing out your name clearly on the line preceding it. Each parent’s signature counts. Please date and return the signed declaration by Thursday, November 23, returning it by mail, to your child’s registration teacher or to the Reception desks at La Châtaigneraie or Mies.

We also encourage you to make an important show of support by attending the Extraordinary Consultative Assembly on November 28th at the Palais des Nations (United Nations) in Geneva.

DON’T FORGET YOUR INVITATION. YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED WITHOUT IT.

(If you did not receive one, contact the school at 960.9111)
