Golf in den Alpen
The first volume of Golf in den Alpen was published in 1986 by Mosaic Verlag, a division of Bertelsmann Verlag one of the largest publishers in Germany. It desribes in detail the alpine golf courses found in Austria, Germany, Yugoslavia (then still that) and Italy. The second volume describes the alpine golf courses in Switzerland and France. All of these courses span a region of the Alps ranging from Marseilles to Vienna and from Munich to Milano.
Marie-Helene Bachofen-Echt finished the second volume in 1988 after playing every course included in the book, Each course description includes photographs taken by the author, a hole by hole description, and the history of the golf course. Both volumes were very well received by golf enthusiasts.
