Robert Leach

Quaker Nantucket

Exploring his Quaker background, Bob Leach presents a story about the religious community behind the empire of whaling, with a certain parallel to Moby Dick.

Bob Leach is best known as the founder of the Student's United Nations which held its first session in the old ILO building on the shores of Lac Leman in 1953. As a history teacher at Ecolint for 30 years, Bob had a profound influence on his students.
